I know you’ve found it difficult to write copy in the past , but this doesn’t mean you’re destined to always struggle with it! You live and breathe the work of your business, it’s your passion, and there’s a power that comes when you communicate from that place. Once you understand how to overcome the confusion and overwhelm you’ve experienced in the writing process, you can harness that power. It happens when you understand:
- How to define your strategy and translate it into authentic copy
- Your language and style choices, and their impact
- What structure will work well for the piece of copy you’re writing

If you’ve got the time and energy to invest in a six-week coaching process – including weekly coaching sessions and writing in between – I can kickstart you on the path to prepping, thinking, and writing like a conscious copywriter.
But it’s not to get you writing exactly like me, or any other copywriter out there. My aim is to support you to find your unique voice in business. Your ideal clients are looking for you, and so I believe it’s your voice that’s going to connect with them best.
The power of your own voice
We all have a voice that adapts to different people and situations. The way you speak to a young child will vary from the way you speak to your oldest friends, your partner, or a person in the street asking for directions in broken English. Although different facets of your voice will come out in response to the needs of different audiences, you can remain authentically yourself at all times.
When you find the business version of your authentic voice, you can help your ideal client truly recognise your potential to help them. You can inspire them with possibilities, and enable them to decide for themselves if, and when, it feels right to say ‘yes’ to what you offer.
The programme in a nutshell
Your Way with Words is a 6-week, one-to-one copywriting coaching programme. It will take you on a journey to discover how to write copy for your own business, in your own voice. It’s designed to shift you out of feeling muddled, stuck, and frustrated by copywriting, to experiencing greater flow and ease.
You’ll learn by doing how to work like a conscious copywriter – from defining your strategy, to understanding ethical copywriting techniques, to writing your authentic copy.
As you go through the programme, you’ll develop at least one or two pieces of website copy or marketing content in collaboration with me (depending on your rate of progress).
At the end of our journey together, you’ll be equipped with a process and tools to carry forward. These will set you up to continue writing authentic copy for your business – copy that’s clear, inspiring and on-point.
Who this is for
This programme is for conscious, service-providing entrepreneurs (e.g. coaches, creatives, therapists, and facilitators) who want to take ownership of copywriting for their business.
You should feel pretty clear on who your ideal client is, the problem your business can help them overcome, and the outcome they’re longing for.
You aren’t new to the work of your business – ideally you’ll have been doing it for 1-2 years at least (even if you haven’t officially launched it as a business).
Although copywriting has probably felt like an uphill struggle for you, you have a love of writing and the creative process.
You relish opportunities for personal growth and evolution. You have at least 4 hours of focused, quality time per week to spend on copywriting – one hour of coaching time, and 3+ hours to work on your copy in between our sessions.
What’s included
- 6 hours of one-to-one coaching via Zoom with a conscious copywriting pro (that’s me!)
- Opportunity to work collaboratively with me – we’ll spend much of your coaching time planning, writing, and reviewing your copy together. We’ll usually focus on two pieces of copy or content in the six weeks, but this depends on factors like the length and complexity of the copy, and how quickly you progress.
- Your Copywriting Strategy Workbook – a fillable PDF for you to document your strategy, and update it at any time
- How-to-write guides and suggested templates for the key pages of your website: Homepage, About, and Services
- Copywriting toolkit – a reference guide that explains and illustrates the ethical copywriting tools and techniques you may choose to use in your copy
- Cheerleading and accountability – I’ll be here to offer support and encouragement, as well as accountability to work on your copy in between sessions. By doing this, you’ll put learning into action, develop skills, and create the copy you’ll use in your business.

Here’s how we’ll work together
- Pre-programme task: Discovery Questionnaire
I’ll provide you with my Discovery Questionnaire a week before your first coaching session. Your answers will help me understand where you’re at with copywriting and give me insight into your niche. I’ll review your completed questionnaire before our Discovery session so I can prep for us to get the most out of the session. - Discovery Session (1 hour)
In this kickoff session, we’ll go through your Discovery Questionnaire and address any gaps, questions, or challenges. We’ll decide which piece of copy to start working on together. I’ll provide you with Your Copywriting Strategy workbook, which we can start to fill in during the session. This gives you a structured way to document your strategy – and you’ll then have it to hand to pull from every time you plan a piece of copy. - Five copywriting coaching calls (1 hour each)
Once the Discovery session is done, you’ll have five weekly, one-hour coaching sessions with me to learn and activate the copywriting process. These will be spent planning, writing, and reviewing your chosen pieces of copy collaboratively. As we do this, I will teach you:- How to translate your copywriting strategy into copy that reflects your authentic voice and resonates with your ideal client
- How to structure your copy (via templates)
- Copywriting techniques and their impact, so you know what your options are when you’re writing copy
- Language awareness skills – we’ll discuss different options for wording and the impact these might have on how your copy is received by your ideal client
To help you get the most out of your coaching journey, I will ask you to work on writing your copy independently in between our sessions. We can then review the progress you’ve made and discuss options for developing your drafts during coaching time.

FAQs
Do I need to bring existing copy or pre-written drafts to the sessions?
If you have something pre-written you’d like us to work on you’re very welcome to bring it. If not no problem – we can start writing your copy from scratch.
What if I don’t finish my Homepage/About page/other piece of content in the six weeks?
My intention is to support you to complete around two pieces of copy or marketing content (assuming you start from scratch) during our time together. This goal takes into account that you’ll be learning and applying new skills, and going through cycles of drafting and making amendments. However, the amount of copy you get finished in the six weeks will depend on many factors, e.g. how long and complex your copy is, how clear you are in your thinking, and how much time you spend on your copywriting in between sessions. You might find you complete more than two pieces of copy.
If you don’t complete all the copy you’d hoped to during the coaching programme, the idea is that by the end of our journey together you’ll be better placed to go it alone.
However, you do also have options for further support from me. You can book single coaching sessions, or use my Copywriter’s Review service, where I review your draft copy in a Google doc and add my suggestions and pointers for development.
